What?

This workshop utilizes several training formats including lecture, group work, collaboration, interactive exercises, negotiation and mediation simulations, and role plays. In addition to learning about the process of mediation, the attendees will also dive deep into negotiation theory and communication theory and their application to the mediation process.

We will explore the role creativity plays in solving problems and being an effective leader and professional. Creative professionals are those who generate ideas for a living. They are usually responsible for the design, entertainment, literature, and new businesses that bring meaning to our lives. Rarely, if ever, are legal professionals or conflict management professionals such as mediators, human resource directors, managers, CEOs and attorneys considered creative professionals or artists. However, these professionals are relied on to create, innovate and perform, and their success relies on their ability to do so. They must create and innovate to survive in the marketplace. This workshop provides skills and processes that are vital for these professionals to have in order to innovate and succeed. This workshop provides valuable tools which will enable the participants to inspire and assist those they serve to create ideas and solutions.
